About the Authors

David Harry Davis - born 1948, in New Rochelle, NY.

In 1969 David joined “The Holy Order of MANS,” a Mystery School, where he studied the major religions and was brought through several spiritual initiations, through which he accessed the Self, the source of his writing.

After seven years of study and practice, he moved to Syracuse to open “Seven Rays Bookstore,” a metaphysical, New Age resource, which he ran for 28 years. The store housed 35,000 titles, and a large classroom where many authors and teachers came from all over the world. David contributed many articles to the “New Moon News, his monthly Astrological column and How to Run a Metaphysical Bookstore Metaphysically were serialized in a number of publications.

During this period, he attended a spiritual retreat on the “Seven Rays,” in Bali, Indonesia. There he was asked by John the Beloved, to create a Mystery School, which was established at the turn of the 21st century. The “School of the New Light” came into being.

Soon after meeting his Guru, Sai Maa Lakshmi Devi, David sold the store, entering a more contemplative period of his life. Retired from “business,” he now resides on a hill, in upstate New York. He continues to write and teach.

Katrin L Naumann - born 1964, in Syracuse, NY.

As Director of Inner Balance Life Works: Soul-Centered Holistic Arts, Katrin serves the Central New York community and beyond, as an Intuitive, Holistic Healer. Her work endeavors to provide individuals with practical tools to become the conscious co-creators of their own experience.

Katrin is a certified Qigong Therapist, Light Therapist, Yoga (E-RYT 500) and Qigong Teacher, offering private and online sessions, group classes, and instruction in corporate settings. She also leads inspirational and transformational work and playshops. 

 Katrin has studied Astrology and Tarot for 30 years. As a Spiritual and Life Guide, Katrin offers Clairvoyant Evolutionary Soul Tarot and Astrological Chart Readings, in her healing space, online, and at Psychic & Holistic Fairs. 

In addition to co-authoring, Ten Gates into the Garden: Spiritual Teachings for the Awakening Consciousness, she voices the audio companion: Ten Gates into the Garden: Spiritual Exercises and Meditations, and other meditations found on her YouTube Channel.
